Two Red Giants e-sports Teams Advance to the Unifi eMFL Super League 2022 Finals!


Two Red Giants e-sports teams, Selangor FC and Selangor FC 2 managed to book their tickets to the Unifi eMFL Super League 2022 Finals after going through 34 matches starting from last April.

Selangor FC represented by Kamil Al Amini (Maxnevis) and Husnain Hakim (Rainnn9) managed to finish the league in 3rd place after collecting 67 points from 34 matches, only separated by 4 points from Melaka United as the league leaders. These two pair managed to win 21 matches, 4 draw and 9 losses before managed to place themselves in the ‘Winner Bracket’ slot for the final round later.

Meanwhile, Selangor FC 2 represented by Putera Sufrie (Killer) and Alif Dani (ForOneOne) managed to finish the league in the 9th place after successfully collecting 52 points from 14 wins, 10 draws and 10 losses in 34 matches. This position will put Putera and Alif in the ‘Loser Bracket’ for the finals round soon.

A total of 12 top teams of the league will compete in the finals where the top 4 teams will compete in the ‘Winner Bracket’ while the teams ranked 5th to 12th will compete in the ‘Loser Bracket’. The final round will be held in a knockout format and will take place on 16 June 2022 next.

A player from the champion team will represent Malaysia and book a slot to compete in the FIFA Global Series Playoff tournament organized by EA Sports and take home the tournament cash. Good luck to both Selangor FC e-sports teams, we wish you all the best!
